Our Virtual Refrigerator this Week

Little Mama made sea stars.  We outlined a star with some Elmers glue and then she pasted rice puffs on.

The three oldest were on a sculpey kick this week.  They made little ornaments  key chains.  Bacon and eggs, hot dog,  banana, cat, ice-cream, crayon, snowmen, Captain America Shield, and a mouth.

The kids do not have a clue who the Rolling Stones are, let alone what their trademark graphic is for their band.....but look at that mouth.  Just like it.  Don't you think?

My two biggest went to a Homeschool Art Class at our library.  They learned about the art of Robert Rauschenberg.  He was into abstract expressionism and pop art.

Above and below are the kids version of comic book abstract art.

I am linking up with Jennifer over at A Glimpse of Our Life.  She has a weekly Virtual Refrigerator link up, which is a fabulous idea!

  1. That all looks like so much fun to create. Beans used in art like your first picture always make the project so heavy. Thanks for the rice puffs idea; I will be trying that soon.
